Back when I was a middle schooler, I remember finding an Andreas Vollenweider cd in my dad's collection. Me, loving music in general, decided I wanted to listen to it... Love at first listen? I do believe so! I would play it on my cd player every time I read a book or when I was relaxing at home. I was smitten. I brought it to school for my favorite teacher to listen to and hope that she would play it in class while we were writing. But, somehow, I lost it and would never find it ever again... Now I'm in college and, for some unbeknownst reason, I randomly thought about that cd while writing an art history paper and had such an urge to listen to it. I was so floored that I remembered the name of Andreas Vollenweider after such a long time... Probably because I was so intent on finding it back then that the name stuck in my memory. I decided to use the wonderful technology of Google to look him up. I can't tell you how enthusiastic and nostalgic I felt when I found this site and listened to some of the tracks I found. But I was looking for that specific cd that I had lost years ago and was lucky to remember it being blue.
